About me

I am originally from Co. Monaghan but I have now been living in Dublin for more than half my life. I initially moved up to begin my undergrad in DCU where I studied Multimedia. Having learned all about the variety of media that was out there and the multiple ways you could use them I decided to put my 4 years hard graft to good use by working in retail for the proceeding 4 years with GameStop.

Having taken much too long to figure out that working in retail wasn’t actually what I wanted to do I enrolled in the MSc Advertising in DIT Aungier Street, specifically in the creative stream. The course gave me a great insight into all aspects of the advertising industry and taught me many things, particularly about the importance of creativity and collaboration. I graduated in 2013 (blatant boast alert) with two student awards, one for coming top of the class and one for getting the highest grade in our dissertation.

Following graduation I went to work for In The Company of Huskies (now Forsman & Bodenfors Dublin) as an Art Director. I spent 4 years there working across a diverse range of clients including Fáilte Ireland, Fyffes, Nissan, GAA, St. Vincent De Paul, Tullamore D.E.W., AIB, Ulster Bank, VHI, Dolmio and LowLow.

I moved to my current role in 2017 with what was then called Paddy Power Betfair. Now under the title of Flutter UK&I, I am a Lead Creative working on creative campaigns for the Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting & Gaming and Dibz brands. I have worked and led on a broad range of projects including through the line campaigns, one-off print executions around topical events, PR stunts and brand visual identity development. It is an exciting business that encompasses not just sports but also gaming, casino, politics and brand work.
